Sunday Morning Bible Study

The story of Mary and Martha in the 10th chapter of Luke is very familiar. Martha is upset because Mary is just hanging out and not helping with all the service work of accommodating visitors. Jesus reminds her the importance of hearing His lessons while he is still there. Today we hear His words through the scripture. Like Martha, we should also take time to listen and learn.

In preparation for Easter, the Sunday Morning Bible Study is using the reflection guide titled Practice Spiritual Disciplines. It is more like a Beth Moore study in that during the week participants read scripture and reflect on thoughts from the author (Rev. Dr. Lynn M Baab). When we gather on Sunday morning we watch a short video and discuss our thoughts and experiences regarding the topic.

We have more study guides and would love for you to join the group. We meet at 9am and begin the study at 9:15am in the Fellowship Hall.
