Calendar of Events

Advent is a time of Hope, celebration and joy. Please join us when you can as we come together for special meals, music and the reading of the words that never grow old, proclaiming God’s love for us.

Dec 7th after worship service we will have our yearly Christmas Feast. Bring a dish to share or just come and enjoy the food of those who love to cook.

Dec 15th is delivery day to Eastlake Elementary school with the Angel Tree gifts.

Dec 21st worship service of scripture and music, Lessons and Carols.

Dec 24th 5pm Candlelight service and Communion.

Cooking for Christ usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month. We prepare a full meal for anyone that is having difficulty with food preparation because of illness or physical limitations. If you would benefit from this service or if you have the name of someone in our community that could use a meal, please send an email to the church with their contact information and your name and phone number.

The men of the church meet each Thursday morning at 9am in the church parking lot and carpool to breakfast (usually the Summerton diner) for fellowship and food. They call themselves the ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Not limited to church members, anyone is welcome.

Beginning in February the church will begin offering communion once a month. This will usually be the second Sunday of each month.

Choir Practice is every Thursday at 4pm. We practice until 5:30pm. An additional practice and warm up begins at 9:30am prior to the 10:30 worship service. Choir does not practice or sing anthems during worship service during the months of June and July.

AA meets at our church twice weekly, on Monday night at 7pm and Saturday morning at 10am. Please check their website for contact information.
