SuperBowl of Caring is a national event organized by TackleHunger.org. Their goal is to assist organizations in raising money to support food programs through out the United States. Our chosen recipient for the funds we raise during the month of January is The Samaritan House in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This dedicated group helps those that are homeless secure a job and a home. This year we are also collecting gently used household items that may be used by residents when they set up house. Items may be dropped off on Thursdays between 10am and 4pm,

The Upper Room is a new unique Bible Study we are beginning this year. we meet every Thursday at noon for an hour. The study and discussion is based on the scripture for the next Sunday’s sermon. For more information please see THE UPPER ROOM under Christian Education.

Cooking for Christ usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month. We prepare a full meal for anyone that is having difficulty with food preparation because of illness or physical limitations. If you would benefit from this service or if you have the name of someone in our community that could use a meal, please send an email to the church with their contact information and your name and phone number.

The men of the church meet each Thursday morning at 9am in the church parking lot and carpool to breakfast (usually the Summerton diner) for fellowship and food. They call themselves the ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out). Not limited to church members, anyone is welcome.

Choir Practice is every Thursday at 4pm. We practice until 5:30pm. An additional practice and warm up begins at 9:30am prior to the 10:30 worship service. Choir does not practice or sing anthems during worship service during the months of June and July.

Although not listed on the calendar, AA meets at our church twice weekly, on Monday night at 7pm and Saturday morning at 10am. Please check their website for contact information. https://www.area62.org/groups.php?group=655716
