Newcomers and Frequently Asked Questions

If you are searching for a church home or visiting the area for golf or fishing we would love to have you join us in worship.  Here are a few things most people like to know.

What time do you meet?

  • Adult Bible Study begins at 9:15 but many like to arrive around 9 to get coffee and catch up on the news.

  • At this time, there are not any structured Children’s Bible Study classes, but we will gladly work with you to provide a lesson for your young people.  Teens are welcome to join our adult lesson and discussion.

  • Worship service begins at 10:30 am, but if you arrive later, our greeter will quietly help you find a seat.

What is the service like?

  • Santee Presbyterian doesn’t have a dress code. Most dress casually.  Be comfortable but come to worship the Lord.

  • The music at our worship service is usually traditional - we sing hymns led by our organist and choir.

  • Communion is served quarterly and on special Holy days and consists of grape juice and gluten-free bread.  All are welcome to the Lord’s Table who have been baptized.

  • Refreshments are offered after the worship service in the fellowship hall. It’s an informal gathering to meet visitors, answer questions and begin forming friendships.

  • If Santee looks like it might be the place for you, ask to be put on the newsletter list to find out more about us or talk to our pastor or one of our elders about joining us in our commitment to Christ.
