Community Connections
Santee Presbyterian Church is a small, rural community an hour away from three of South Carolina’s largest cities. Our church is connected to a number of organizations that provide support, comfort and outreach in our neighborhood.
In addition to our local church outreach, many of our members are involved individually with area groups committed to making Santee a better place to live.
Easter Sunrise Service
Easter Sunrise Service will be held April 20th at the Santee Cooper Resort at 6:30 am. Please enter the gate and follow Santee Drive about 2 miles. Parking is available at the clubhouse. We will meet across from the clubhouse on the shore of Lake Marion. You are welcome to drive up in a golf cart and participate in the service from there. Or bring a collapsible sports chair. A limited number of folding chairs will be available. The club house will be set up to accommodate us if the weather is bad.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous holds two meetings a week at Santee Presbyterian Church:
Mondays 7-8 p.m.
Saturdays 10-11 a.m.
The Santee Group may be contacted through their website or by calling 803-534-4682.
Cooking for Christ
Once a month volunteers from Santee Presbyterian and Hope Lutheran Churches meet at Santee Presbyterian and prepare meals for those in the community that need a meal because of physical difficulties. The hot meals are delivered to the individuals homes by our drivers. The day of the meal preparation is listed in the calendar and is usually the third Tuesday of the month.
