Local Outreach

Children’s Ministry

Santee Presbyterian Church’s children’s ministry focuses on the students of our local elementary school. Working with the local retirement community of the city of Santee, Angel Tree gifts and items for the Jaguar Store bring smiles to the beautiful children that live in Santee.

The Jaguar program is a rewards program. The children receive points for making a good grade, for exceptional behavior or for being helpful. Accumulated points can be exchanged in the store for toys and school supplies.

We are fortunate to work with the exceptional educators at the school to facilitate this program.

Hebron Colony/Grace Home

A Christ-Centered Addiction Recovery Ministry

Hebron Colony Ministries is a charitable, non-profit, inter-denominational, non-sectarian organization. They are governed by a Board of Directors and operate solely by faith.  They believe that Jesus Christ is the answer to overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. They accept people from all walks of life, all faiths, or no faith at all. Their sole purpose is to reclaim lives ruined by alcohol and drug abuse through the preaching, teaching, and studying of God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ as revealed to us in the Bible.

Hebron Colony is a men’s facility located in Boone, NC.  Grace Home is the women’s facility and is located in our community of Santee, SC.

Souper Bowl of Caring

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national organization that helps organize and direct collection programs to help tackle hunger in the United States. On Super Bowl Sunday an offering is taken. Our collection goes to The Samaritan House in Orangeburg, South Carolina, an organization that helps the homeless and the hungry.

The Prayer Garden

A place for peace and prayer is located next to the sanctuary for anyone at any time.
